We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). Where visitors from the European Union are concerned, we additionally observe the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process data on the basis of your consent, to perform pre-contractual measures and contracts, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating this website securely.
When you visit the website, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) is processed by our hosting provider to deliver the website and ensure its security. This data is only stored for a short time.
If you request a demonstration or advice via the form, we process your name, email address and – optionally – phone number, Emirate/area and your message. The details are stored in our database and forwarded to us by email in order to handle your request and arrange an appointment. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, the provider WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. or WhatsApp LLC) processes your phone number, metadata and message content; data may be transferred to the USA. We only use the information to answer your request. Alternatively you can reach us by phone or email.
For this website to work, technically necessary information is stored in your browser. In addition, we use Google Ads to measure how successful our ads are (see section 7). Under the law of the United Arab Emirates (PDPL) no separate cookie consent is required for this.
We load the Google tag of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) or Google LLC to measure the success of our ads (Google Consent Mode v2). Online identifiers, IP address, device and usage data may be processed and transferred to the USA. If you do not want this measurement, you can block the connection to Google in your browser's cookie/tracking settings or disable JavaScript in your browser.
The shop buttons take you to the PRO-AQUA shop for the UAE (pro-aqua.com/ar-ae). Data processing there is governed by that operator's privacy policy.
